Judas, Demas, & Saul of Tarsus

The Apostle Paul called himself the "chief of sinners." Was he right? What about Judas? In the end, wasn't he worse than the pre-converted Paul? Since we know our own hearts, we could all call ourselves the "chief of sinners." But Paul's open opposition to Christ was overcome by God's grace so that Paul would be an example to us. God has the power to change the most hardened of sinners. Paul once ravaged the church as a wolf, but became one of the Lord's sheep. Judas acted like a sheep, but was really a wolf in sheep's clothing. And Demas was a goat, who never knew the Lord.
