Church Discipline: Appealing to a Brother in Sin

Jesus commanded believers to go to a brother or sister in sin, in an attempt to restore them by means of an escalating appeal. The goal of such an appeal is always restoration. Only when this appeal is rejected, is such a brother or sister removed from fellowship.
