Men with Itching Ears

The Scriptures make many allusions to human senses: sight, sound, smell, feel and taste. The apostle referred to men being "dull of hearing" (Hebrews 5:11). Here, he said they have "itching ears". Doctrinal and spiritual dissatisfaction are common to men. He warned it's a dangerous malady. Not settled on Christ alone for salvation, men are driven by their "own lusts" and "will not endure sound doctrine".
