SS The Doctrine of the Church

Jesus famously said in Matthew 16:18, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." This underlines the importance of the church from God's perspective. So what is the church? How did God design it to be ordered? What is its purpose and function? Given the importance of the church to God, these are urgent questions to answer. To do so we must look to the Scripture where God has revealed the truth on these matters. That is what we intend to do in this class.
