The sin of the Pharisees and scribes are exposed by the Lord Jesus for all to see. Their sin is the inveterate enemy of true religion, i.e. true Christianity. The Lord elsewhere in His Word warns of perilous seasons when the sin of the Pharisees would be prevalent and manifest amongst the professors of Christianity in the lives of those who would have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. Once again Pastor Max has faithfully expounded the passage at hand. Thank you!
