In this sermon, I said that the name Jezreel in Hosea 1:4 referred to the judgment God would bring on Ahab. However, clearly, it refers to the judgment God would bring upon Jehu. I apologize!

As a family recently victimized by sexual assault, this verse has become a bit of a stumbling block. Not because of the Bible’s words on it (I have developed a much fuller understanding of this verse through Matthew 19), but because of how little it is addressed. You were on of the only sermons to pop up on the subject. Most commentators simply excuse it as, “well, it’s better treatment than other nations would’ve given.” But that doesn’t seem to address the morality of the situation. Thank you again.

Although it is reasonable to believe that Joshua and Caleb were approximately the same age, I misapplied Joshua 14:10 to Joshua, when it referred to Caleb. I apologize.

this helped explain a challenging passage from scripture to me.

1. Philip was the father of Alexander the Great, not "Philip the Great." 2. The woman in John 4 was a Samaritan, not a Canaanite woman. Sorry!
