Deeply grateful for how you balanced these two weighty sermons—M’Cheyne’s piercing warnings of hell immediately tempered by Stoddard’s equally intense notes of gracious invitation. I confess I had strong misgivings about Stoddard, given his conflict with Jonathan Edwards, who rightly stood firm on 1 Corinthians 11 in guarding the Lord’s Supper as a means of grace for believers, but judgment to unbelievers. Edwards’ costly faithfulness in Northampton, even at the loss of his pulpit, remains a witness to “iron sharpening iron.” Yet, hearing Stoddard’s words here alongside M’Cheyne, I better understand why Edwards so often cited his grandfather in Religious Affections. Thank you for weaving them together in narration—sobering and comforting in perfect measure, Tom!!!

While Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a very influential figure in world history, he was really a modernistic infidel. There is an article on Way of Life Literature exposing the modernistic errors of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. One of the modernistic errors of Dietrich Bonhoeffer was his belief in (Testimony to Freedom, pp. 75-76; Christ the Center, p. 58) that Yesu Kristo Today is not a real person and being, but a "corporate prescence." How tragic that he, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, utilizied his historic influence in Germany to promote and endorse the errors of modernism and liberalism. There are other articles on Way of Life Literature documenting the errors of modernism, which are much needed in times where discernment is required.

Thank you. Pink in spite of his eccentricities was mightily used by God in his writings which are still bearing fruit. I am very grateful for this. I have purchased Dr. Belcher's book, and am looking forward to reading it.

Thomas Cranmer is IMHO generally underrated. It is hard to imagine an English reformation without a Cranmer. This is a very useful sketch of the man who exerted the longest and steadiest influence on the religious life of England at perhaps its most critical phase. Thank you, Mr. Raines!

Great teaching overall. However, the reference to Robert E Lee who was pro-slavery is hard to reconcile the idea of him being a great man!Also, he was a secessionist. His horse may have been great. But, the rider no!

This man appears to be so young to have studied so diligently to rightly divide the word. I believe God approves this message. It is good. Render unto the Shepherd the glory due his name.

Dateline 2017... and I just heard the quote from one in the audience that this book would likely be forgotten in ten years. So little credit is given to the god of this world by those of us who should know better.

Excellent sermon following the progressive parallel interpretation, which I believe is the best way to study the book. I only wish the handout he refers to throughout the series was available as a PDF attachment for online listeners to refer to. Other than that, this is the best expositional study of Revelation I have found yet! I would recommend everyone listen to any of Pastor Chanski's sermons: you won't be disappointed! God bless.
