Samuel Farag

Pastor Samuel Farag grew up and spent 32 years in the Coptic Orthodox Church but was saved in the summer of 2017 when he surrendered to the Lord after God opened his ears to hear the Gospel.
After being born-again, Sam realized God’s call on his life to preach God’s Word. Hence, he started his seminary journey at Liberty University and eventually received a Master of Theological Studies degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree and hopes to earn a PhD in Church History after that.
He currently serves as the Pastor at Bethel Baptist Church of Gorham, NY, and is a missionary with Village Missions. Additionally, he is the founder of Expositing the Word Ministries.

He is blessed to be married to his loving wife, Mercy. They reside in the Finger Lakes area of Western NY and are blessed with two adorable and loving daughters.
Pastor Sam has a tremendous love and compassion for those in (and considering) the Oriental and Eastern Orthodox Churches. He desires to share the true Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the Word of God and to demonstrate that the Orthodox church promotes a different gospel that fails to save.
