Matthew Vincent

Pastor Vincent grew up in a Christian home and made a profession of faith at a young age. He has a B.A. in History and enjoys the excitement of reading about past cultures and people. After many years of faithful membership in various Reformed Baptist churches, he served briefly as a deacon at Heritage Baptist Church in Mansfield, TX until 2012. In May of 2015 he received a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Seminary California. In June of that year he, along with his family, moved back to Texas to intern at Emmanuel Reformed Baptist Church. On June 19, 2016, he was ordained to the gospel ministry. He has participated in church planting work in British Columbia, Minnesota, and Belton, TX. Matthew finished his four-year enlistment with the U.S. Army in 2002, as a gunner on an M1A2 Abrams tank in the 1st Cavalry Division. He is married to Ruth and they have 3 children.
