The Deception & Destruction of Antichrist and his followers

Pastor Curt continued his exposition of 2 Thess 2:1-12, and we saw that antichrist would come and bring wide spread deception (under God's sovereign control). It is God who sends a deluding influence (v. 11) on those who reject the truth, which paves the way for judgment. The purpose clause in v. 12 states that this is so that they may all be judged who did not believe the truth. As soon as antichrist arrives on the scene, v. 8 says that Christ will come and destroy him with the breath of His mouth.
