All Things to All Men to Save Some: Christian Liberty and Evangelism

Although we are not obligated to the rules or opinions of men, sometimes we should acquiesce to them in order to better present the gospel. A legitimate area for accommodation to the opinions of others will meet the following conditions: (1) it involves matters of indifference, that is, things that are not wrong in themselves; (2) it cannot be anything that God forbids; (3) it cannot be something of indifference that someone makes a matter of moral obligation.
