The Consequences of the Truth of the Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:20-28

God is glorified through the resurrection of believers.
Christ is raised from the dead (20-25)
Analogy of “firstfruits”: our resurrection flows from Christ's (20)
Adam and Christ are representative heads of two realms (21-22)
All “in Adam” die (22a)
All “in Christ” shall be made alive (22b)
Christ reigns until all His enemies are destroyed (24b-25)
He abolishes every rule and every authority and power (24b)
He puts all His enemies under His feet (25)
(God works all of this through Christ!)
Christ's people are raised from the dead at His coming (15:23b)
He destroys death (15:26)
He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father (end) (24a)
He is subjected to His Father (28)
God is “all in all”!
