Beware of False Prophets!

Jesus is applying the teachings He has just given. He says enter by the narrow gate and walk on the difficult way. Many will come after Him with a different message.

In this verse he is addressing his followers first... that is to say his sheep. The passage is only secondarily intended for those who are teachers and preachers. Good trees bear good fruit. Good pastors teach and preach the words of Christ. Our duty is two fold... discern the true from the false and then follow the true.
