II. Inadequate Old Covenant Approaches to God

Since the Mosaic Covenant worship types were so inferior, why is it that so much of professing Christianity continues to pattern its worship practices and styles after the Old Covenant? The reason is the failure to eradicate the influx of Covenant Theology (Replacement or Reformed Theology) in its early development. What were some of the inadequate Old Covenant ways that people tried to approach God?
