The Beauty, Perfection And Necessity Of God's Grace
Series Select Sermons
This morning we will look at the subject of God's special grace; something that is fundamental to, and even synonymous with, the Christian faith. Brian just read from Titus 2:11-14 where Paul explains the purpose of God's
grace.
As a saved people, our spirits made alive to God through faith in Jesus Christ but still dwelling in a framework of flesh laced with sin, we have a tendency to drift.
We are prone to lose our sense of awe for, and take for granted, the magnitude, beauty, perfection, and necessity of God's special grace. We need to be reminded from time-to-time.
Otherwise our prayers and our time of worship may be in danger of becoming droll, commonplace; more of a duty than a deep, heartfelt approach to the throne
of God.
