14 Rom, 6:11-13 Reckoning our identity correctly (Lesson 13)

Finished lesson 12 & 13, with discussion of our crucifixion with Christ and the truths that exist now because of this fact. What is true of Christ is now true of us, He became sin and so died but is now raised from among the dead ones, and is now alive with new creation life. We also are freed from the dominion of our sin nature and we are alive in His new creation life. Our sin nature did not die, but God judged and rejected it for His new creation life. By God's grace we examine, understand and reckon these facts to be personally true. We really did die with Him, and we are really are alive with His life now. Reckoning is more than belief, it is resting in God's gracious person & works. Over time, this reckoning leads us into intimate knowledge and gracious fellowship with Him now.
