Presumptions of Grace

Message by J. Edwin Orr in the last sermon he preached, quotes a missionary from China commenting on a revival among the churches there… “It was like judgment day.” The thought that revival is just a sweet move of the Spirit or a jump in spiritual joy and passions is not accurate. Revival always begins with conviction; with a breaking for sins. So if we want revival we must be willing to face “judgment day.”
