The Deaths of Nadab and Abihu & the Drink Prohibition

Nadab and Abihu, sons of Aaron presumptuously approached to the LORD and died as a result. There sin was very likely connected to drunkenness. And would the priesthood die in a day? Moses finds that the remaining sons have deviated from the law in the sin offering. On their first day of full service this is tragical. But God is merciful.
