Abraham's Blessing Is of Promise, not Law

Paul continues the thought that he introduced at the end of the second chapter which was being justified by faith of Christ rather than by works of the law. There is no works involved in justification. It is of the grace of God. Works frustrate or destroy grace altogether. So in this third chapter Paul cites Abraham as positive proof for this.
