Whom Have I In Heaven But You?

On Sunday afternoon, we heard Psalm 73 opened from the pulpit. The Psalmist describes his depair of heart when he looks at the world and becomes envious of those who, despite their hatred of God, seemingly have no pangs in life or death. His heart is changed when he enters the sanctuary of God and is reminded of what God is doing in history, in His workings with mankind. He cries out in verses 25 and 26 a reminder of where our heart should be set, "Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Listen to the entire message here.
