Correctly Interpreting Scripture: 1 Timothy 4:1-5

o Rule 5: Be careful about reading into a historical account what you want to see.
o Rule 6: Get the input of other who may not share your biases as a check and balance.
o Rule 7: Carefully make applications only after you have responsibly and sufficiently studied the details of the passage.
