Abraham, Isaac, & God

When God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac; Abraham obeyed. He had every intention of slaying his son. Not because he was murderous or crazy. But because he knew that God had promised him descendants through Isaac; and that even if Isaac died God had the power to raise him from the dead.
