Flee From Idolatry

No matter how strong the temptation, Paul assures us that God always leaves us what is called in Greek an 'Ekbasis.' An Ekbasis was a way of retreat, a narrow passage, that an encircled army might use to slip away from the enemy. Why then if there is always a way to escape do so many Christians still get burned by the flames of temptation?

This sermon explains why, and gives several biblical applications from godly Puritan pastors as to how we might learn not put our own hands near the flames.
