Thy Kingdom Come in Glory

Believers of every generation have a spiritual fight and a war immediately at hand. Until Christ comes, believers will be engaged in a war waged against God either by their own sin or the results of sin around them in every place. Therefore, in the second petition of the Lord's Prayer, we must acknowledge ourselves and all people to be by nature under the dominion of sin, unless we are born again by the Spirit of God (Ez. 36:25-26; John 3:5). For this reason must pray against the Kingdom of darkness and for the Kingdom of God to come in glory.
