A true friend

A true friend does not always agree with you, but loves at all times and in spite of our experiences. Here we see David's friendship with Jonathan and he has a sincere question for him, and because of their true friendship David was able to ask this honest question. Jonathan still had hope that his dad would change but he knew David had done nothing that needed to be changed. No matter what though Jonathan was willing to promise David his true friendship.
