Modernists, Jesus Is NOT God! If Jesus is not God, then He is not coming back
Series The Just Shall Live By Faith
Today we're back sorting out the immense pile we bulldozed up last week on the three parables Jesus gives us in Matthew 24:45-25:30. And we've even made things even more fun by pushing Jeremiah 13 on top of the pile.
Now we're going to pull out some things in the pile and take a closer look.
Why did the evil salve start killing. How long did he wait to start killing. And now we're into Modernism. This is happening today and getting worse. It's how you look at Christ's delay. Which point of view are these evil servants choosing to take? These people think they have time to be evil and intend to stay evil the entire time. After the delay Christ returns in judgment. And we are grateful for His delay. So now we look at the anatomy of the evil point of view. Modernists hate the fact that Jesus is God.
And that takes us to the book that Bill O'Reilly lent his name to, called... Killing Jesus. The modernists have chipped away for many years, trying to convince us that Christ is not God. Now the people coming out of seminary in this day and age don't even know that Jesus is God. You see, if Jesus is not God then He is not coming back. There's no reason for Him to come. Jesus laid this out for us in these parables. If Jesus is not God then these parables make absolutely no sense. Without controversy, great is the mystery of Godliness. That's the Incarnation.
Alright, that’s just a brief introduction. There’s much more.
Thanks so much for listening. Feel free to encourage this pastor with phone calls e-mails and letters. GREAT things are coming...
