God Holds My Right Hand, pt. 2

Asaph learns seven things…

1. God was always with him (v. 23). “I am continually with you”
2. God kept him from falling (v. 23). “You hold my right hand”
3. God continues to guide him (v. 24). “You guide me with your counsel”
4. God will lead him to glory (v. 24). “and afterward you will receive me to glory”
5. God is all he needs (v. 25). “And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.”
6. God will be all he ever needs (v. 26). “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
7. God’s nearness is truly good (v. 28). “But for me it is good to be near God…”
