Why We Can Trust God - Eschatology 69 -The Battle Forever

In the new heavens and the new earth there is a huge city called the heavenly Jerusalem which is the dwelling place of the bride of Christ. It is the place our Lord has prepared for His own bride and will reflect His glory. As we look to Him to fulfill His promise we are eagerly awaiting His imminent return. The great beauty of the city itself is nothing in comparison to the fact the God Himself will dwell among His people. What a testimony to the work of Christ that we will dwell forever in fellowship with Him and will always be brought near. Here we look at another of the wonderful blessings of the New Jerusalem. Since our God is making all things new, we will finally have the mind or thinking that Christ died to give us and the spiritual battles of this earth will be over. We will no longer have any problem with the world the flesh and the devil. All will have been vanquished forever! Here we continue our look at God’s provision for dealing with the flesh, or the sin nature, now, while we live as believers in time.
