Paternal Ministry
Series 2 Corinthians
Paul speaks of his paternal ministry to the Corinthians. Paul is a giver, not a taker, like a father to his son. He next speaks of his upcoming third visit in hopes he will find them in good standing in Christ. Again like a father, Paul would be humiliated and mournful to find the church members in Corinth steeped in sin.
